The
popular form of Taichi which is practiced
by most people, usually without the
understanding of Qigong, is but only
a fraction of the whole Taichiquan.
And in fact, Tai Ji, when performed
without qigong, Taiji is reduced to
an exercise in slow movement or dance.
However,
when Tai Chi is practiced in the correct
form with Qigong, this martial art
form can be lethal and powerful. View
video below and you’ll understand
the power of the qi. The practice
of Qigong is to tap the qi, life energy
from the universe, namely qi from
the trees, forest, sun, stars, moon,
mountain, earth, crystals, minerals,
water, just to name a few. They are
all part of what the Chinese called,
the five elements, wood, fire, earth,
metal and water.
The
fundamental of Qigong is to tap the
qi or life energy from the universe
using a set of special techniques,
into the body to clear the twelve
meridians. Through the process and
with regular practice, the flow of
qi to your body will grow stronger
and it helps to strengthen all the
internal organs, thus results in better
health.
The
stronger the flow of qi to your body,
the healthier and vital your body
becomes. It is the equivalent of more
muscles mass gained in the term of
body building. Unlike muscles mass
gain which is visible, qi cannot be
seen. However, someone with more qi
can feel it inside his or her body.
When qi flows into your body, you
can feel like the tingling sensation
of an electric current moving in your
body.
Amazing
and true stories of super human feats
performed by 10 years old kids to
70 years old men and old ladies with
a truck roll over their stomach is
not something uncommon. These are
feats commonly performed by ordinary
people who are Qigong students. You
may ask, how can these be true? They
do not have the bulging muscles or
six pack of Arnold Schwarzenegger,
they have never been to the gym nor
lift weights, yet strangely, with
the help of qi power, they did it.
Qi is just like water, when not in
use, it is soft and pliable but when
pressurized, it can cut through steel
or even lift a car. View video below
and you’ll know what I mean.
Below
is also a video of an amazing stance
performed by Qigong experts. Please
do not try it yourself if you do have
one.
